Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Yadadri-bhuvanagiri (Keesara) is a sacred retreat nestled in nature, offering a harmonious blend of serenity, simplicity, and spiritual depth.
Spread across 23 acres of lush forest land, the ashram is a peaceful sanctuary away from the noise and pace of city life. A tranquil lake within the campus enhances the contemplative atmosphere. The gentle chirping of birds, along with the occasional visits of peacocks, rabbits, and other rare birds, makes the surroundings vibrant yet deeply calming.
The spiritual rhythm of the ashram begins early. The Holy Trio Temple opens at 5:00 AM, followed by the morning ārati, creating an atmosphere filled with devotion. The day continues with Pūjā and Pushpāñjali, and in the evening, the serene āratrikam, allowing residents and visitors to remain spiritually connected throughout the day.
The ashram follows a natural and wholesome way of life. Organically cultivated greens and vegetables, wood-pressed oils, and naturally grown pulses are used in the preparation of pure organic food, supporting a healthy and sattvic lifestyle.
Daily Satsangs
A central feature of ashram life is the Daily Satsang, which includes devotional bhajans and meaningful discussions on fundamental spiritual questions such as:
- Who are we in reality?
- What is the goal of human life?
- How are we connected with God?
- How can one live peacefully amidst stress and strain?
These satsangs are spiritually uplifting and practically relevant for people from all walks of life.
Celebrations
The ashram also joyfully observes important sacred occasions, including:
- Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna’s Jayanthi
- Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi’s Jayanthi
- Swami Vivekananda’s Jayanthi
- Kalpataru Day
Each celebration is marked by special prayers, bhajans, and spiritual gatherings.
Accommodation, Facilities & Cost
Simple, clean, and peaceful accommodation is available for visitors who wish to stay and experience the spiritual atmosphere.
The cost is ₹600 per person per day, which includes boarding and lodging.
People who are spiritually inclined are welcome to come and stay either on weekdays or over weekends, subject to availability, to immerse themselves in the calm and devotional environment.
For the benefit of working professionals, the ashram also provides Wi-Fi internet facilities, enabling guests to continue their professional work while simultaneously engaging in their sādhana and spiritual practices in a serene setting.
